The fourth Annual Conference took place at Humboldt-Carré in Berlin. Representatives from industry, science and politics took stock. The research organizations presented action recommendations.

Printing bioreactors on surfaces, constructing synthetic cells or creating microchannels by combining synthetic pathways for new agents. The major German research organizations have committed themselves to these visions for the future biotechnology. At the fourth Annual Conference of the BMBF initiative “Biotechnology 2020+” the research organizations announced the launch of million dollar collaborative projects. In front of more than 200 stakeholders from academia, business and politics, a stock was taken of the last three years of the strategy process and the future course was formulated.
