The major German research organizations have committed themselves to these visions for the future biotechnology. At the fourth Annual Conference of the BMBF initiative “Biotechnology 2020+” the research organizations announced the launch of million dollar collaborative projects. In front of more than 200 stakeholders from academia, business and politics, a stock was taken of the last three years of the strategy process and the future course was formulated.
